Randy Wakeham
Hey, my name is Randy Wakeham. I have been giving guitar lessons since 1999, and have been playing guitar and bass guitar since 1989. I am a member of several local and regional bands such as, The Agate Pickers, and The Pasi Cats. I also compose music on the side. My favorite part about teaching is expanding my knowledge from the students and watching them develop.

Dave Morehouse
Hello all, my name is Dave Morehouse. I am currently a retired school teacher. I taught for 34 years at Rockland Schools. I have been playing various instruments since 1964, and giving music lessons since 1972. My favorite part of teaching is watching my students grow musically.

Kathleen Arten
Hi everyone, my name is Kathleen Arten. I have been giving music lessons for 35 years now, and currently play and organize recitals. I have a bachelor’s degree in music, a major in music therapy and piano, and some additional post graduate experience in music. I currently accompany Calumet High School Choir, and have previously accompanied CLK ecumenical choir. My favorite part about teaching is helping my students create music themselves.

Melissa Davis
Hello, my name is Melissa Davis. I have currently been giving music lessons for 10 years and have some education in music theory and ear training. Also, I play in a band called Huffing Pink. My favorite thing about teaching is giving lessons to students who are eager to learn.

Bob Hiltunen
Hello, my name is Bob Hiltunen. I have been a professional musician since 2002, and have been teaching music for eight years now. I am currently a member of ten different bands, including The Dave Brotherton Band, The Bob and Dave Show, The Humidors, The Pasi Cats, The Steve Jones Trio, and Uncle Pete’s All Star BBQ Blues Band. I also do a lot of solo acoustic performances. What I like about teaching is sharing my personal opinions and ideas about music with others.

Amanda Plummer
Hi everyone, my name is Amanda Plummer. I currently have my EdD in music education and I am certified to teach music K-12 and music theory. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Nazareth College of Rochester, my masters from Ithaca, and my doctorate from the University of Illinois. I have been teaching music professionally since 1995. I personally play with a recorder consort and sing in the Michigan Technological Choir. My favorite part about teaching is helping students and individuals discover something wonderful in themselves through music.
